Verónica Rodriguez Pellegrini was born in Madrid. She graduated from Madrid Conservatory in Violin Performance and she also studied under the direction of maestro Zakhar Bron at Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía. She also holds a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia, US.
She has been a member of the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas. She has also worked at Orquesta Sinfónica de Extremadura, Orquesta Sinfonica de Radio y Televisión Española and the Puerto Rico Symphony.
As a composer, her works have been performed in Madrid, Florida, Philadelphia, Puerto Rico, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Israel, India, Costa Rica and Cádiz. Recently, her Quintet for Flute and String Quartet was premiered by members of the Puerto Rico Symphony at the closing concert of the Festival Casals. Her piece “Las Carboneras” was also performed at Coca Cola Music Hall at a concert featuring flamenco superstars Lolita, Rosario Flores and Antonio Carmona.
Veronica has performed on stage with internationally acclaimed classical artists such as the late Yehudi Menuhin, Yo yo Ma, Gil Shaham, and Joshua Bell, and also singers such as the late Donna Summer, Vanessa Williams, el Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, flamenco dancer Antonio Canales, and reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee at the ‘L.A. ICON Awards’.
Verónica is currently writing for several prestigious labels produced by Miles of Music, distributed by majors, including Shallam, a music label represented worldwide by BMG. For this label she has written and released multiple instrumentals, as well as two Ethnic/World Music albums. Her instrumental music has also been featured on various TV shows in the UK, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Hungary, France, Israel, Finland, Denmark, Czeck Republic, Netherlands and Belgium.
Together with her sister Claudia Pellegrini, Verónica Rodriguez Pellegrini is the founder of Blue Tempo Productions, a music production company (www.bluetempoproductions.com).
